Many hands make light work

Not only have all the local tradies given their time freely to work on the JumpStart House project, on a lot of occasions they have brought the rest of their team along. This has meant that lots of apprentices have had the chance to work on the house as well. As well as this at numerous times students who have been out in the workplace doing work placement or work experience have also had the opportunity to work alongside local tradesmen on ‘The House That JumpStart Built’


Great support from Leeton Shire Council

Leeton Shire Council has given their complete support to “The House That JumpStart Built”. They helped secure the loan and pay the monthly interest on the loan as their commitment to the project. They have offered guidance and support along the way.

Mayor, Cr Paul Maytom is an ambassador for the JumpStart house project and has attended all the functions such as appreciation evenings, business breakfasts and open houses. His support and encouragement has been greatly appreciated by all the committee and everyone associated with “The House That JumpStart Built”.


The WOW factor

Local residents have flocked to the weekend open house viewings of “The House That JumpStart Built” over the last 3 weeks. Comments have been very favourable and the whole house and land package has received the thumbs up.

The home theatre room has received rave reviews from visitors. The drop down screen and projector together with the surround sound has been deemed the room with the wow factor, especially from the children!

Real estate agents join forces

The 4 local real estate agents have joined forces and are all generously donating their time and expertise in a combined effort to sell “The House That JumpStart Built” The agents have all volunteered their time to host the open house viewings.

Reports from all agents indicate that viewers have been stunned by the plan, layout, interior decorating and landscaping. There has been strong interest from potential buyers.

Glenn Preston from Glenn Preston Real Estate will be the auctioneer on auction day.
